
Joely Reyes
Bio
Joely Reyes is an associate attorney at The Law Offices of Fusco & Macaluso, practicing criminal defense and matrimonial law. Joely majored in Criminal Justice at Saint Peter’s University. She graduated with two minors, Political Science and Urban Studies. Joely graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Most Noble Order of The Peacock, an honor given to the top ten students with the highest G.P.A. in the graduating class. She received her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law with a concentration in Criminal Law. Joely was awarded a recognition plaque by the Dominican Republic Consulate in Boston, MA for her academic excellence and contribution to the advancement of the Dominican community. She is of Dominican heritage and is a first-generation college graduate.
Joely clerked for the Honorable Mark J. Nelson in the Hudson Vicinage. Additionally, she was an Assistant Prosecutor in Hudson County, NJ. Joely spent a year in the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office’s Pretrial Unit before spending the remainder of her time in the Juvenile Unit. Joely has prosecuted complex cases including but not limited to attempted murder, aggravated sexual assault, robbery, unlawful possession of a handgun, etc. She is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and is a member of the Hudson County Bar Association. Joely is fluent in Spanish.
